Creating Media work - The Lychgate Guesthouse

One of our recent websites to go live was for local guesthouse, The Lychgate. We love working with local clients, and The Lychgate is based just down the road in Caldicot. They have a cosy guesthouse with well-appointed rooms, in a great location just opposite the entrance to the castle.
Janice, the owner of The Lychgate, loved the previous websites we have created for other guesthouses and holiday cottages, such as Pentre Tai Farm and Corner House Mathry. Just like those other two examples, we also designed a hand-drawn logo and provided a photography shoot as part of the web design package.
The logo is a drawing of the actual lychgate that the guesthouse is name after – we pretty much nailed the illustration from the first version, though did play around with the amount of shading and daffodils included around the base of the gate.
The website itself was relatively small, but contained everything required to show the professional and friendly side of The Lychgate. A focus on the quality and locally sourced food, and lots of great images and testimonials to encourage visitors to book in!
